“Home” to Bob was Tampa, Florida, where he grew up, went to school and enlisted in the Air Force in 1953. Between the Air Force, Civil Service, and companies at “The Cape”, he had 33 ½ years in government service.
He is survived by his wife, Sammye, of 63 years this past July 4th. He is also survived by daughters, Emily Madden, Brenda Benevente, Angela Unruh, and son Robert Madden; also three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 30, at 12:00 pm, with services to follow at 1:00 pm, at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will take place immediately after services at Brevard Memorial Park.
