Catherine K. Bowen, "Kitty", 82, of Merritt Island passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Rockledge, Florida. She was born in Philadelphia and moved to Merritt Island in 1975. She was predeceased by her husband Francis Bowen. She is survived by daughters Michaelynn Carmody of Port Richey, Colleen Nestor of Cocoa, Maureen McNamara of Atlanta and Kathleen Herring of Port St John; Brother Walter Kelley of West Palm Beach; Sisters Eileen Bull of Hawaii and Delores Elsman of Illinois; Ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Kitty was loved by many and will be missed by all. Visiting will be Saturday, January 22nd at 12 noon at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa, followed by a service at 1 pm. Donations may be made to Wuesthoff Hospice.
