Darin was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Jessica Catherine Dalrymple; his amazing father, Richard J. Dalrymple and his loving sister, Donna Dee Dalrymple.
Darin is survived by his wife Elizabeth Dalrymple of Titusville, his mother Diane Dalrymple of Merritt Island, his sons Joshua F. Dalrymple of Merritt Island and Monte T. Wimberly of Titusville, his former wife Debbie Gryn - Dalrymple of Merritt Island as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a large extended family.
Darin was born on June 3rd, 1970 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was the oldest child of Richard and Diane. His childhood was full of love and family. Whether it was in the mountains of Tennessee or the beaches and backwoods of Florida, Darin was living life.
Following in his father's footsteps, Darin was a career electrician, often working side by side with his hero.
Darin was most proud of his children Joshua and Jessica. Being their father was the best thing in his life. He was a proud Army dad and proud of Joshua's enlistment! We rest easy knowing he is once again in the arms of his daughter Jessica, who he missed so much.
Darin also enjoyed another roll in life ~ and that was being a Grandpa to his step-children's kids, Jazmyn, Kaylnn, Braedon, Bryce, Jessie, Blake, Caleb, Haileigh and Emma. He loved them all and they will deeply miss him.
Darin had a wide variety of interests ~ his most recent ~ working on his 1931 Model A that had belonged to his father. He enjoyed being on the water and was a certified diver. He enjoyed spending time with his mom ~ they were always "fixing" something.
He loved hunting and looked forward to going to the family hunt camp when he could. His last trip there just 3 years ago was with his father and his sons.
There will be a visitation at 4:00 pm on Friday, December 22, 2017, followed by a Celebration of Darin's Life at 5:00pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa.
In lieu of flowers ~ the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Hospice of St. Francis in Titusville, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
