Ed, an engineer by trade, was born in Pinehurst, NC, on May 8, 1924 to James and Mary (McDonald) Caddell. A graduate of Johns Hopkins, Ed was the owner of an engineering firm in Baltimore, MD, and upon retiring a general contractor in Cocoa, FL area. Ed received the Presidential Unit Citation during his service in the US Navy.
Pat, daughter of Donald and Hilda (Rhoten) Buckinghan was born on April 23, 1937 in Baltimore, MD. She was a graduate of Western High School in Baltimore and retired from Bell South Telephone. Pat was an active member of Cocoa Presbyterian Church and known for her volunteer activity and good-works.
A memorial service celebrating Pat and Ed's lives will take place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Cocoa Presbyterian Church, 1404 Dixon Blvd., Cocoa.
