Ellen Karavas of Titusville, FL died on April 12, 2018 at the age of 82. Ellen was born in 1935 in Veria, Greece. She came to Buffalo, NY in 1944 at the age of 9, with her parents and two sisters. She was very involved with the Greek Orthodox Church, and was the President of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society for several years. She was a loving and caring person who will be missed greatly by all that knew her. Ellen was full of laughter, joy and happiness. She is survived by Adam, her husband of 59 years, her three children, Christina Voll, Linda Martin and George Karavas, and her grandchildren, Ryan, Elizabeth, William and Anna.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, April 17 at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Melbourne. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, Building Fund, 5965 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940.
