A native of Cairo, Georgia, Evelyn moved to Florida in the 1950’s. She worked as a real estate broker for many years. Evelyn was of the Episcopal faith. She really loved traveling, shopping, bowling, and dancing.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Knickle, and her brothers Vaughn, James and Jeff Maxwell. She is survived by her son Ray C. Norton (wife, Mona) of LA, and brothers Albert and Billy Maxwell; grandchildren: Christina Langille (husband Kevin) of Cocoa, Brandi Burleigh of LA, and Trent Fuselier of LA; great-grandchildren: Addison, Delaney, and Kadence Langille, and Daigan Burleigh; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, May2, 2015 at 1pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home.
