Born in Mason City, Iowa, Gladys moved to Brevard in 1963, where she quickly became an integral part of the community. Over a distinguished career, she worked for 31 years as a Unit Secretary at Wuesthoff Hospital, where her dedication and compassionate care left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Gladys was known for her vibrant personality. An avid Bunco player and a true social butterfly, she delighted in the company of friends and traveled the world with her close companions. Her zest for life was evident in every gathering, and her warmth and humor made every moment memorable. As a longtime member of the Cocoa Elks and a charter member of Faith Viera Lutheran Church, she enriched her community with both her service and her infectious spirit.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie Martin; son-in-law, Sherman Martin; and daughter-in-law, Donna Miller; as well as her three grandchildren, Shannon Lee (Roger), Kim Black (Mike), and Lisa Merritt (Lance); and eight great grandchildren—Chase, Carson, Kasey, Colton, Cori, Kendall, Blake, and Easton—all from Jupiter, Florida. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Werner Miller, and her son, Ron Miller.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to St. Francis Reflections Hospice for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
