Imelda Catherine Alexander

IMELDA CATHERINE ALEXANDER (nee Fahey) age 86, beloved wife of the late Richard; loving mother of Robert, Debbie (late husband Brent), Joan (husband Jay), and Susan; devoted grandmother of Justin, Austin, Casey, Jessica, and Katelyn, and great-grandmother of Anthony and Joseph; cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (nee Kelly) Fahey; dearest sister of the late Mary Lou Schultz, Eleanor Iwuc, Thomas Fahey, and Margaret Dixon; and dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Imelda was born July 31, 1930, in Cleveland and passed away September 26, 2016. Imelda was a resident of Mayfield Heights for most of her early life, moving with her husband and children to California, then to Illinois, then Michigan, before the family relocated to Florida in the early 70s. After the death of her husband in 1973, Imelda raised her children on Merritt Island and enjoyed the rest of her years with them and their children. Imelda was strong-willed and had a great sense of humor, especially in her younger years – she had a laugh that could be heard from far away, she never got lost in a crowd with that laugh.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 30, 2016, 11 am, at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North US Highway 1, Cocoa, FL. 32927
