

He was born in Clearfield, PA on September 10, 1925. He graduated from Clearfield High School Class of 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his discharge, he moved to DuBois, PA and went to work for the city of DuBois Police Department as a Patrolman. He resigned six years later. He and his family moved to Florida in 1956 and settled in the city of Cocoa. He was employed by Pan American World Airways in their Fire Protection Services at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in 1956. He spent 31 years at the Cape where he retired in 1987 as Fire Chief. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Viera.
His wife Faye and son Larry preceded him in death. He is survived by son, Kenneth (Cindy) Miller and daughters: Lorraine (David) Denney and Lisa (Scott) Chapman. Wynn is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Wynn and Faye enjoyed 64 years of marriage.
Visitation and service will be held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, December 19. Family will receive friends from 11AM-1PM with the service to begin at 1PM.
