Linda Lee Dawson

Linda Lee Dawson, a beloved member of the Cocoa, FL community, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2024, returning to the Lord at the age of 83. Born on January 18, 1941, in Elyria, OH, Linda was the daughter of the late Carl V. and Margaret A. (Krugman) Limpert. Her family relocated to Daytona Beach, FL, in 1946, where she received her education in Volusia County schools and proudly graduated from Seabreeze High School, Class of 1959.

In 1961, Linda married John W. Dawson, and they were blessed with their cherished son, William, later that same year. Linda dedicated herself to homemaking, embodying the roles of devoted wife and loving mother, nurturing her family with boundless affection.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband John, and nephew, Danny, Linda is survived by her son William Dawson, daughter Melanie Hoover, sisters Carol (Limpert) Weaver of Cocoa, FL, and Kathi Limpert of N. Olmsted, OH, as well as four nephews, two nieces, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and a wide circle of extended family.

A graveside service honoring Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brevard Memorial Park, located at 320 Spring Street Cocoa, FL, 32927. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Brevard Humane Society, 1020 Cox Rd, Cocoa, FL, 32926, or Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 S. Fiske Blvd., Rockledge, FL 32955.
