Mamie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age.
On February 28, 1955 Mamie was united in marriage to Emanuel C. Cooper and was a loving and devoted wife. In 1955 Mamie and Emanuel moved to Buffalo, NY, where they joined the Young Tabernacle Holiness Church under the direction of Late Bishop Lucy H. Young. She served faithfully as a deaconess. In October 1980 she relocated to Titusville, FL and became a member of the First Born Church of The Living God where the late Bishop Walter Smith was pastor. She dutifully performed the roll of church secretary under the leadership of Junior Bishop Frank Southerland, until her health began to fail.
Mamie was employed as a supervisor for the Florida School System until her retirement.
Mamie Lee Cooper entered her earthly body into rest on The Lord’s Day, December 30, 2018. She now begins her spiritual journey of eternal life.
She leaves to celebrate her memory her husband, Emanuel C Cooper Sr., her children Emanuel Jr. (Gloria), Randy Sr. (Sandra), Valerie, Shawn and Emanuel C. Hedgeman (Jeanette), her fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one brother Daniel Williams of Alachua, FL. and a host of family and friends.
