

Marvin Leo Richardson was born on January 26, 1934 to Ruby Lee Richardson and Anna Elizer Wallace in Marion, South Carolina where he was raised on a small farm. After a short time in the Air Force, he returned home and married the love of his life Paula Jean Owens and they were happily married for almost 68 years.
Marvin will be lovingly remembered by his children Diane Lysne (Bruce), Tony Richardson (Carolyn), Donna Hudson (Mark), Michael Richardson and their 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his precious sister Matha Collins of Johnsonville, South Carolina.
Marvin’s career included positions with the International Paper Company and Dupont to name a few but his most enjoyable memories were from the Kennedy Space Center where he played an important role during the Apollo Program and landing astronauts on the moon.
Marvin was a man of deep and abiding faith and conviction. He served as a deacon at the Orange Park Baptist Church in Orange Park, Florida as well as the First Baptist Church in Port St. John, Florida.
Marvin was an avid fan of Florida State University football. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking.
Friends and family will be received at 11:00 o’clock prior to Marvin’s Celebration of Life at 12:00 at the Brevard Memorial Funeral Home at 5475 US Highway 1 (320 Spring St.), Cocoa, Florida on May 29, 2021. Reception to follow.
