She worked in daycares before retiring. She attended Hope Community Church. She was a part of the “Missile Misses” and was an avid bowler who also enjoyed collecting angels and baby dolls.
Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie L. Watson and son, Jeffrey M. Watson.
She is survived by 3 sons: Alan R.(Annette) Watson of Titusville, Lonnie W.(Enid”Boo”) Watson of Titusville, and F. Hiram(Andrea) Watson of Mims; daughter, Derinda”Wendy” Watson of Houston, TX; sister, June Lassitter of Vernon, FL; 11 grandchildren: Kimi, Jamie Michael, Ryan, Amanda, Billy, Dylan, Chris, Stephanie, Kristen, David, Sheri and Sarah; and 9 great-grandchildren: Mallory, Shea, Skylar, Mason, Keelan, Mathew, Jeremy, Lana, and Dalton.
A graveside service will be held at Brevard Memorial Gardens on Monday (2/2) at 2PM.
