

Bobbie passed away peacefully at home on August 2nd, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Robert died of a broken heart on October 9th, 2014. They are survived by their three children, Valerie, Robert Jr. and Andrew; three grandchildren, Tommy, Cati and Nicole.
Bobbie is survived by two sisters Charlene Yates and Juanita Trout and was preceded in death by her parents Thelma (Barfield) and Bill Williams and brother, Buddy Dennis. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Emma (Bianca) and Alfred Gandolfi, his brother Alfred Gandolfi Jr. and sister Joanna White.
Bobbie was born in Lyons, GA and her family moved to Brevard County in 1950. She graduated from Cocoa High school in 1955 and she and Robert were married in 1956. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a wonderful friend who will be missed by many. She was always willing to lend an ear or shoulder and never judged.
Bobbie’s passions were reading, playing bridge, politics and she was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for large gatherings. She never showed fear and possessed great inner strength of character and mind. She was and remains truly loved.
Robert was born in Elizabeth, NJ and was raised in NYC. His family relocated to Brevard County in 1951. He graduated from Cocoa High school in 1952 and attended the University of Florida. His career was commercial construction and progressed from iron worker, project manager, president of a local construction firm and then as a consultant. Robert’s passions were family and work. He adored his wife and children, was a wonderful husband and father and placed family above all else.
There will be a funeral service October 18th at 10:00am at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North US Hwy 1, Cocoa followed by burial at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 2116 Garden Street, Titusville and a celebration of their lives at the Knights of Columbus, 3435 South Fiske Blvd, Rockledge. Casual attire requested.
