A retired banker with Barnett Bank, Shirley Boylan Scott, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 30, 2014. Shirley loved her family, reading, painting and flowers. She was past treasurer of the Central Brevard Art Association. Born in Tuscaloosa, AL, she moved with her husband, Scotty, to Cocoa in 1957. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon (Scotty) and grandson, James Scott Salerno.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandi Scott, Deborah L. Sanders (Mike Boylan), both of FL, and Robin Bilskie (Alan) of NC; grandsons, Scott Sanders, Aaron Bilskie; granddaughter, Rachel Bilskie; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Josh Sanders; four sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4th at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, Cocoa, 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 5th at Islander Alliance Church, Merritt Island at 2 p.m.
