Abioye, 
You were such a gentle soul. Kind, soft spoken and very respectful. I remember the first day we met that I picked you up at the train station. Since then you became a very dear sister to me. You are a true child of God always ready to pray. You loved God to the very end, even when all hope seems lost you were still holding on to God and calling for holy communion. I love your courage and resilience, you never gave up on God. I will miss your weekly calls on Sundays. Rest on in the bossom of your maker till we meet again on the resurrection day.

Tribute to my mom, Abioye Fayiga:

Dearest Mommy, I'm not too sure what to say that will bring light to suddenly losing you. I constantly think about your warmth, kindness, patience when we were growing up and I'm grateful for getting to know you more as an adult.

I will miss your weekly calls and your positive energy. Even though you were more quiet than most, your personality was also playful and filled with laughter. I will miss so many things and know this hole can never be filled. Thank you for being the best mother you could be. May you rest in eternal peace. See you on the other side, Mommy.

Tribute to my sister Abioye Fayiga


Abioye,
You were such a wonderful and amazing soul. 
Abioye your early and painful exit made me totally speechless but I am consoled with the faith that you are resting in the bossom of the Almighty God. 

It’s not how long but how well; but you lived a short but meaningful life.
It’s true of an adage that says Igi gbigbe ki pe nigbo. 
You were very quiet, soft spoken, highly educated, always maintaining peace with everyone. 
Sun re o till will meet to part no more.

I can't imagine living in a world without such a vessel of honour as you. 

The honour you have for men of God is outstanding. You have been so much of a blessing to me and the ministry. I am still in awe of who will feel the vacuum.  
I saw the sacrifice of motherhood in you when you came to Nigeria with your children.
You cross my mind every day. 
Certainly, you are resting at the bossom of JESUS. I bless God who has helped you to live a fulfilled life.

May the Lord be with those you left behind in JESUS name.

TRIBUTE TO MY SISTER ABIOYE
Abioye... you were such a gentle soul... 
Never thought I would lose you at this period. I planned to visit this year and was looking forward to seeing you. I don't know what to do. I am trying to hold on to keep strong..
I remember the video clips from the altar of fire and how you requested more videos. You kept on giving me the assurance that you will be okay... But now you're gone... 
Abioye...discussing you in a past tense is indeed an agonizing experience. You were a true child of God. You gave your life to Christ at a very tender age and was committed to bringing little children to Christ as a child evangelist. You loved children dearly and was a mother to many, including my children. You lived in Christ and gained eternal life. Your life was in strict compliance with the core values of a true child of God. 
Goodnight, my dear sister; You've followed the path God laid for you...
You decided to take His hands when He called to rescue you..
You turned your back and left it all...
God wanted you now, and He came to set you free from undue grief...
I know you will not want me to remember the struggles because you are now at peace, and your soul is at rest. The fear and the pain are now all gone. I will not dwell upon your death, but I will celebrate your life.
I am blessed to call you my sister... Despite the challenges you had all through the years, you were full of kindness, you loved me unconditionally, and stood through thick and thin. You shared in my joys and sorrows, my laughter and my tears, through the good and stormy weather. 
When we were little children, we laughed and played together. I remember our days at the St Anne's School and University of Ibadan with so much nostalgia. I couldn't have asked for a better sister. I have more memories of you to keep me comforted. 
I am consoled that the Lord has swallowed death up in victory, and He will wipe away tears from my face. Isa 15: 8

Darling Bioye
I choose to remember your cheerful voice, your infectious laughter, your what it seemed like constant joy and your undying faith in the Lord Jesus. I shared moments with you ups and downs and remember you to be a faithful strong woman of God. You went through your upheavals with strength and dignity and your love for your children was sacrificial and something to be envied. You pushed yourself to the limit and even when it seems youre out , you get up again and keep pushing. I thank God for knowing you, I also bless Him  for keeping you at Peace, no more sorrows, no more tears, no more disappointment. No more pain, Youre free free at Last!!!

Abioye mi owon, my friend like a sister, my adviser, a mentor and a good role model. You were so dear and loving. At times I wonder how anyone could dare to hurt you.

I am greatly consoled because I am sure:
         now you have good rest,
          now you have genuine love,
           now, that your laughter will.      
           come back as it was when we
           first met.
Thank you for being a lover of God par excellence.  The memory of your integrity lingered on among both staff and students long after you left the Federal College of Forestry, Ibadan. You never compromised your faith as you stood firm in the faith and in defence of what (who) you believed. You were a virtuous moman. You took good care of your family and loved ones.

Your desire and readiness to win souls  for Christ whenever the opportunity 
arose is unrivalled.  My life and attitude changed when a student was brought to your attention (as the warden) for stealing corn from a colleague's farm. Rather than humiliate the boy, you showed him the love if Christ and made him to realise his action was unacceptable.   He ended up giving his life to Christ and he never looked back! One of numerous.

To Seun and Bunmi, Abioye's family, siblings and friends, please, accept my condolences.  I have the assurance that our 'yeye Laditi' is now in a better place. We have to brace up and take a daily inventory of our lives with the hope of straightening them out with our maker.  

We pray for great comfort, which only our precious Holy Spirit can give, for you all.
