Ayana graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan Class of 1994. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business/HR Management from University of Phoenix in 2010. Ayana also received her Payroll Certification and HR Generalist Certification.
Yanni enjoyed being with family and friends, especially at the card table. She was known to everyone as the Life of the Party. Some would even say she was the Party. Her laugh and smile were infectious, and she lit up every room she entered.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Dwight Duncan; mother Brenda Hollingsworth-Taylor of Greensboro, NC; sister Valerie Collins of Greensboro, NC; adopted sister/friend Courtney Chaffer of Atlanta, GA; aunt Jennifer Sims of Jacksonville, FL; aunt Chea (Robert) Mosley of Pensacola, FL; aunt Vera (Jermain) Rigsby of Arlington, TX; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of cousins. Ayana also leaves to cherish her dog Bentley.
Special Friends include Shane Nash, Rhonda Bridgewater, Tyjvanna Payne, Cora James, Eva Haire, Ced Foster, Wannie Terrell, Marlana Chaffer, Matthew Thomas, AnJanette Chaffer and Alexis Chaffer.
Ayana was preceded in death by her Father Curtis M. Taylor, Grandmother Vera James, Sisters Tameka Talley and Kanatha Taylor-Presley and Aunts Frances Flowers and Vivian Wiggins.
