I cannot be with you today but I want you to know that I will be thinking and praying for your family.  I met Ethelyn several years ago when we both still lived in Forest Park.  I delivered Meals on Wheels to her house.  I would give her the meal and we would talk for a few minutes.  I told her I had to deliver other meals in her area.  She wanted me to stay a little longer.  If I could, I would tell her I will when I get finished.  I would come back by but she never wanted me to leave and I understand how she felt.  She loved people and she was always welcoming to visitors.  Our conversations since we have moved away have been mostly by phone.  I have enjoyed them so much and will miss hearing her voice.  As I look over the obituary and see all of the names of those I have never met, still I recognize their names from the conversations we have had.   Always remember that she loved her family and friends and was proud of all of you.   I loved/love her and will miss her terribly... my prayers go with each and everyone of you, today and all of your tomorrows as you remember her.    Love you.

To my life long Friends Joel and Glenda, I am so sadden  by the loss of your mother. I have lots of memories of her as neighborhood mom to substitute teacher God bless  and comfort you during this time of grief. You are in my prayers 🙏 

To  Mrs. Willis' family,
 I had the great privilege of being Mrs. Willis doctor.
 She was a sweet lady that was always smiling and never complained.
 She was cherished and adored by her children. They have honored her while she was alive and she knew she was loved.
 She is now in heaven reunited with her husband and smiling down on her family. 
She accomplished her mission and all I can say is "Well done"

 I will miss her,  her smile and the twinkle in her eye.

The Willis family moved to Georgia and became a part of our church family at Hapeville Church of Christ when I was about 5 or 6 years old in the 1950’s. Because we were a small congregation, all the families shared our lives together in good times and difficult ones. Most of my growing up treasury of memories include Glenn and Ethelyn and their children. 
Until we meet again in the LORD’S presence, Sarah Louise Cook Yarbrough 

Granny was so loved and will be missed by many. Thank the Lord we had so many precious moments like these with her before she made her final journey home. Forever in our hearts! ♥️

Aweeeee…. I’m so sorry for your loss… I will really miss her! I will miss doing her hair and getting her all fancy…

Mrs. Ethelyn was a special lady.  I've  known her since I've  known Glenda from 6th  grade at J. E. Edmonds Elrmentary. She always had a kind word and I wish I knew how many hugs and laughs we all shared.  My mom also worked where she had her hair styled and she always asked her about me and updated us on Glenda. I will treasure her memory always and I know she us rejoicing with Jesus now.
