

Virginia Dianne Cobb was granted her wings on September 4, 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Virginia Dianne Cobb was 73 years young and was born in Atlanta, GA on June 5, 1944.
Virginia was a RN for the past 40 years and also a devoted mental health caregiver in the community. VIrginia was one of the first mental health providers to go speak to the United States Senate, on behalf of Consumers with Mental Health Disabilities.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mattie I. Cook and father Washington L. Cobb and brother, Donald Cobb. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory husband Walter T. Beaty Mother Mary Grant; Brother Washington L. Cobb and sisters K.C Cobb ,Tara Reese, Travonda Thompkins Sons: Charles V. Hutton, Shawn D. Hutton Sr., and Jared L. Hutton(Darlene) Brandon Tyrone Dunham (Tonita) Khristopher Johnson Grandchildren: Crishon Bibbs, Tailynn Garrett, Chasity Banks, Jonathan Amey, Justin Amey, Charlesia Williams, Geshia Bibbs, Wuan Brown, Jesheri Armstrong,Latricia Brooks, Shamika (Matthew Williams), Shawn D. Hutton Jr.(Tanisha) Deontavius Visco, Deshawn Visco, Dena Visco, Sydney Hutton, Brittany Rainey, Ashley Hunter, Jared L. Turner, Suroya Hutton, Brayden Hutton, and Jayvren Hutton Nephews/Nieces: Douglas Cobb, Dorcha Cobb, Iyana Anderson, Mark Lamb(Robin), Toby Lamb(Lois), Colleen Lamb, Vernon Lamb Sr, and Ingrid Edwards. Special family friends: Eric Nobles and Anthony Nobles; 23 great grandchildren an a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Virginia will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, Georgia, 30349. Burial will follow the funeral service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
