

William J. Easterwood, affectionately known as Joe, passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on November 9, 1940, Joe was a proud graduate of Russell High School, class of 1959. He spent his later years residing in Stockbridge, GA, where he was known for his charming personality and generous spirit.
Joe was a devoted Christian who lived by the motto, "Always keep Christ first and foremost." This belief guided his life and the way he interacted with those around him, as he brought the spirit of Christ to everyone he met. He will be remembered not only for his faith but also for his dedication to his family, which he considered his greatest achievement.
He is survived by his son, Adam Easterwood, and daughter-in-law, Stefanie Easterwood. Joe's legacy lives on through his granddaughters, Emily Easterwood Brockway, married to Jesse Brockway, and Brianna Easterwood, as well as his beloved great-grandson, Jensen Brockway. He also leaves behind his cherished sisters, Alice Adams, Sandra Hicks, and Carol Griffin, and his loyal dog, Sweetie. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Willie Easterwood and his mother, Gladys Easterwood.
Joe was known for his handsome demeanor and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
