Tomorrow will be one year since you have been gone.   I still cry every day, even though I know you are in a better place, with Jesus & Stacie  at your side. I just recently found out Chance left this earthly life to be enveloped in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father . I am deeply sorry for your loss. My prayers are for his parents, children, extended family, & countless friends. God a Bless you all.

Happy Birthday, Chance! I think of you often so I send warm wishes that you and your beloved sister, Stacie, know that you are both  gone from this Earth but there are many people that love you both and miss you both. I smile when I look up into the night sky because I know that you are watching over me from your own star.

I met Chance when we both worked at TEAM Integrated Engineering.  Bright, articulate, very analytical, but with a real joy in his heart - is how I would describe him.  He befriended me soon after my arrival to the new job, one of the few who took interest in me that early in my employment.  But that was Chance - always caring about others.  Our time together was too short.  Pardner, you will be missed ... I look forward to seeing you again one of these days.

I was blessed to spend days with Chance before his death, I cannot understand, in his death, why such a beautiful man had to meet his maker so early. What a beautiful soul, he was. I loved him. I encouraged him , even amongst his angst. My heart will never understand.

So many fond memories of my cousin. Always a smile, so fun & so much energy. He has left a legacy of fond memories & such handsome sons. So blessed to have had him on this earth!

Although I didn't have the opportunity to spend much time with Chance, I have spent a lot of time with his parents, Barbara and Harvey.  They often spoke of Chance and were quite proud of him.  He was an amazing person and I can not imagine the grief of losing him.  My deepest sympathy goes out to them and all the family.

Chance was an amazing person! I can say that because he was my cousin. He touched so many lives in positive ways. I remember best the summers at Grandpa & Grandma Stavinoha's. All of us cousins would be camped out on the floor on pallets and the giggle fest would begin! By day we explored the neighborhood and backyard or we would have crazy boardgame tournaments. But as life has a way of doing, we all floated in our own directions. I still tried to keep track of him over the years but never quite made contact. Chance's spirit was very bright and will continue to shine brightly in Heaven. I'm sure he and Stacie are smiling down on us now. Chance is probably plotting next boardgame tourney for when we meet again in Heaven. Chance's 3 sons I'm sure will be just as great men as their father. They had a great teacher! Aunt Barbara & Uncle Harvey, my heart weeps with you  and know that I love you guys so much. Rest well Chance and keep smiling that wonderful smile.

Chance was my roommate in San Antonio. I got the privilege to spend time with him his last few months. I will never forget the way he carried himself and treated others. He was an awesome roommate which I miss dearly and he was an even better friend. I will never forget him, and I will always honor him  as the man who helped teach me life skills I didn't think I had. Miss ya buddy.

I will never forget the countless good times Chance and I had riding our mountain bikes,him always up front hammer down(I'm sure with a big smile on his face,you know the one).It's funny how most rides went from We'll just 'cruise' this ride to HAMMERFEST when Chance took off first. I will sorely miss hearing him call me "Rodneeeey". He was a good man, a result of two loving parents that taught him well,Thank You Barbara and Harvey. I could always hear the love in his voice when he spoke of you. To Raynell and the Boys I'll always be here for you, love you.

My deepest condolences to the Stavinoha family.  My life was richer for having known Chance and calling him my friend. I miss him dearly as I know you do. Prayers to all.

I hadn't seen Chance in better than a year, and I missed him already.  Chance was one of a kind.  No back steps, no half steps, just a full head on charge.  The only time he looked back was to offer a hand, and always with a smile.
Even after not seeing him in a year, I feel a hollow spot in my life.  He was that kind of guy.  I don't have the words to say what I mean.  He was just that kind of friend.
I can tell the family Chance made an impression on many, many people.  They should be proud.  I pray for strength for the family.

Our family was so sorry to hear about Chance. It was too soon. My heart goes out to his family.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your dad.  I lost my mom when I was 19, She was only 36 yrs old.  So I know what it's like when someone is gone too soon and all of a sudden.  The path of life has changed directions for you, please don't fall off and get lost.  Always remember your family and friends are there for you.  Thinking of you.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Chance had just recently joined our organization, but we have known him for nearly ten years and we will miss him greatly. His integrity, boundless enthusiasm, intelligence and love of problem solving are just part of what made him such an exceptional person. We have met few people in our lives as remarkable as Chance, and we consider ourselves fortunate for having known him. Our thoughts are with all of you in this terribly difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear about Chance. He was by boss at the Att Center .He was so friendly and nice. I liked him he was always upbeat. He will be missed.

Chance was one of those free spirits of energy, intellect and passion that I so dearly cherish.  His smile was infectious.  This world and I will miss him.

Chance was a lovely man with a sense of duty and adventure. I was fortunate to get to meet him several times and was able to visit with him at length on the phone, occasionally.

I am so sorry to hear about Chance.  He and I met in the early 80s, and we worked together extensively in the Greenbaum Lab and on several long field trips (one deep into northeastern Canada...we spent many nights watching the Northern Lights).  We had some great times.
