David Campbell was a good man. Church was his life: Secular Franciscans, Knights of Columbus, Celebration Singers, a lector, an adorer, participating in Men's Faith Formation and Men Knowing Christ retreats and more.  There wasn't much he wouldn't do for the church or anyone. He was always willing to help out, share his faith, or just get a cup of coffee with you. His fellowship and friendship will be missed.

David enjoyed everything about being in the Knights, from meetings to social events and serving in the Mass.

David had a particular devotion to Mary.  This was encouraged by what he viewed as an intercession by the Virgin Mary for him to receive his 4th Degree KC regalia.  Soon after David prayed in the Mary grotto at St. Joseph Church, Deacon Pat Gallagher, himself a 4th Degree KC, gifted his regalia to David.  He wore it proudly and used the story of how he came by it to share how Our Lady intercedes for us.
