Geoffery Clayton Campbell

July 26, 1953 – June 23, 2011

Geoffery Clayton Campbell, 57, of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away Thursday, June 23 2011 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Funeral service will be Monday, June 27 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at College Station City Cemetery.

Geoffery was born on July 26, 1953 in Alberta, Canada to Edward and Billy Campbell. While serving in the Marine Corps. he acquired a passion for both helicopters and aviation simulators. His passion drove him to work at many aviation centers around the country including NASA. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother Billy Dean Campbell; and sister Dena Gay Croft.

Survivors include his father Edward Campbell and his wife Marcy of Athens, Texas; brother Keith and wife Cheryl Campbell of Carrollton; sister Marion Slaten and husband Scott of Lake Bay, Washington; nieces and nephews Kristina Campbell of Dallas; Elizabeth and Jonathan Campbell of Carrollton, Morgan and Michael Slaten of Lake Bay, Washington.
