Lee lives on through his wife, Leah Giese McCabe, his two daughters Kaylee Noel Perrenot (spouse of JeanLuc Perrenot) & Kassidy Lydia McCabe, and his parents Jim & Barbara McCabe.
On August 26th, 1967 Lee was born in Lansing, Michigan to Jim and Barbara McCabe. In 1992, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics where he founded programs for youth in the community.
Lee James McCabe married Leah Giese McCabe on September 9th, 1992. On December 14th, 1994 and April 13th, 1998 he welcomed his two beautiful daughters. All three of “his girls” were always the most important thing in his life.
Lee was a devout husband, father, and son. In his life, Lee left his mark throughout the community. Those who worked with him as a custom home builder looked up to his integrity and passion for what he did. Lee enjoyed spending his free time fishing with family and friends. He loved traveling with his girls and creating lifelong memories. Lee always found a way to put his own touch on things to make moments special. Most importantly he had an indisputable love for the three women he devoted his life to watch over and always do right by.
Family, Friends, and the community will greatly miss Lee James McCabe. His girls send love and know he is at peace.
“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” –Genesis 28:15
A celebration of life will be held at the Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station on Friday, May 27th from 5:30-7:30. The family has requested that in lieu of Flowers that a donation be made in Lee’s name to the Coastal Conservation Association. Flowers wither away but, sustaining the marine life in all waters will live on for generations to come. https://www.joincca.org/our-story/
