Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station with Pastor Randall Bard officiating, Interment will follow at the Memorial Cemetery of College Station. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Leon was born July 10, 1933 in Lincoln the son of George A. and Louise (Sander) Dube. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Leon worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for over 40 years and retired in July 1995. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Sons of Hermann.
Leon is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mervin Dube; sisters-in-law, Caroline Dube and Alene Dube; daughter-in-law, Tonie Dube; and two nieces, Josephine Zoch and Nicole Dube.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney Dube, Kevin and Debra Dube; grandson, James Vaughn; brothers and sister-in-law, Raymond Dube, Harry and Susan Dube; and sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and James Faske.
