

Naomi Johnston, 78, of Bedias, entered into rest on May 25, 2011 after a brief struggle with Liver Cancer. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Madisonville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 27, 2011 at Madisonville First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Johnston was born March 28, 1933 in Tahoka, Texas, the daughter of John and Mabel Cox Willingham. Mrs. Johnston was a loving wife and mother and worked in the food service department for the Austin ISD.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John E. and Lanny Joe Willingham.
Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Marlin W. Johnston; children, Landy & Carol Johnston, Marna & Mickey Hughes, David & Dawn Johnston; grandchildren, Adam Hughes, Rebecca Stevens & her husband Jon, Wesley Johnston, Kyle Johnston, Ethan Jones, Courtney Palmer & her husband David, Christopher Bosley, Sarah Johnston, and Jared Bosley; great grandchildren, Hallie, Sam, & Luke Stevens, and Gwennivier Bosley; sisters, Ruth Brewster & her husband D.H. and Arlene Carr & her husband Tommy; numerous other extended family members and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley or the American Cancer Society.
