He was born in San Angelo, Texas, on September 20, 1956. He was married to Sandra on November 8, 1975. Alan worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years, traveling to all the lower 48 states. He retired in 2021.
Alan enjoyed hunting and fishing, including deep sea fishing. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of The Hills Church of Christ in North Richland Hills, Texas. He is predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Virginia Cox Green, and Roger Spencer. He is survived by his wife Sandra Green, sons Jason Green and David Green (Rachel); grandchildren Ryan Green, Reese Green, and Jacob Green. He is also survived by his half-sister Jennifer Rose Tate and step-brother Kyle Green, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas. A graveside service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
