I was so sad to hear about Amy. She was my high school sweetheart. We shared so many great times together when we were young. Even though we had not talk to each other in years she will always hold a special place in my heart. I know she is with her Lord and savior Jesus. My prayers go out to her husband and children that they may find comfort. Also to her sisters Merri and Betsy and their mother Elizabeth. May God bless them all.

I did not know you very well but ytaught my boys in Sunday School they loved you. Thank you so much for working with them and teaching them about god. May you rest in peace.

We knew Amy as an enthusiastic and loving college student who came to Los Angeles in 1991 to be apart of s summer project working in the inner city. She later returned to the city to work full time with Heres Life Inner City LA.  She wrote curriculum and helped launch the SAY Yes! Centers a youth development outreach to at risk kids that is now in several U.S. Cities and internationally as well. Amy loved God, her family and others especially children we were blessed to work with her in the '90s and are just so sad at her tragic passing. May many find Jesus as Savior through this as that would be her greatest desire. Shalom.

Love all of you very much and praying that the Lord will hold you close and give you His peace that surpasses all understanding during this time fo grieving.  Amy will be so very missed, she was such a precious wonderful woman and I am very grateful that I got to know her and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven one day.

Amazing Amy---she did it all.  She did everything w/excellence.  She poured her heart and soul into investing in others.  What a testament to the Lord and her parents.  My heart aches for your family.

I knew Amy through our CC Practicum. She was one of the highlights of my summer because of her love for reading, her joy and kindness. I looked forward to her recommendations, to what she was reading and to hearing how books were used in her family and among friends. My prayers are with your family.

My first thoughts of memories were of birthday parties for the girls and the shower for Zachary's upcoming arrival and the fun of sharing with Amy the difference between girls and boys. But God brought another memory to mind. While we were at Mid-Cities Bible Church, Amy was in charge of the Women's Retreat one year. The things that were shared, the songs that were sung...these were the seeds that were planted in my heart that God used to bring me into a deeper understanding of what it is to be a Christian and a closer relationship with Him. I am so thankful for her obedience and the willingness to give of her time and talents to make that retreat take place.

So sorry for your lose! May you feel the warmth of the Lords arms in the days ahead. The lord is our strength in our weakest hours.
