I have know Dana since I was in 2nd Grade, we lived just a few houses down from each other. I remember Dana when I first moved in our house, her coming to introduce her self to me, so we could be friends. Dana and I grew up in the same schools,  did things through out as we were growing up together.  Dana met Gene her husband on one of our WSU Ski Trips, I was with Dana when she met Gene. Dana was also in my wedding as a bridesmaid, when Dana told me after she got married , she was moving to Texas, I stayed friends and saw her and Gene when they first lived in Irving, than Bedford. Dana had her 2 boys, Alex and Mick, my son Josh was right in the middle of age between her two boys. Dana had come back to visit Ohio several times, and some of Dana's other friends , Lori and Sherri, we all got together to see her. I have known Dana for over 54 yrs, and my heart breaks for her loss, and my prayers are with her boys, and Allan, and her family. I told Dana we will see you again!❤

Dana and I met over 20 years ago when she  invited me to playing  on her tennis team The Raquettes.  Soon after, competing in Little State in San Antonio, I got to know Dana and many other longtime friends. Dana was our tennis mom making sure we all had just the right partners on the right lines.  Driven to be a  better  player, she would take notes, drill, practice, strategize, and if she lost she would not eat out or party with us afterwards! Some other ways to describe Dana:vibrant, lively, sassy, smart, driven, competitive, fun, outdoorsy, adventurous, athletic, loving mother, good friend, energetic hostess, caretaking daughter, lifelong wife, partner. 
During a hard business time I hired Dana, trusting her High morals and standards, and strong ethics. She was competent, eager and diligent taking on any task. 
Besides tennis, we traveled together many times. In Moab We went on a Class 5 raft trip on the Colorado. We chose to sit in front and we were both shivering.  With no body fat it was hard to keep her warm and several times I had to hold her in the boat.  Dana and I went jeeping, horseback riding, to Arches national Park.  On the trip  to Tucson, we went to a dude ranch, the desert zoo, and much more adventures with Gail and Susie.  It’s on these trips that I found out that Dana was an excellent rider and cowgirl. 
We had so much fun at the Newcomb retreat, in South Carolina, and in Ohio where I got to visit her high school neighborhood, great concerts, usually singing along.  I’m going to miss Dana, her quick wit, her laugh, her friendship.  
I am grateful for Alan, her life partner whom she loved. He went above and beyond, nursing her in her worst time. I am very grateful that she found another love after The love of her life, Gene,  passed.  
Dana was Truly a unique woman that will be missed by many. Looking forward to many more adventures with her on the other side.

Our first encounter... I was just arriving to a NYE party and you were already going to bed. It was an elevator moment to remember. 

We didn't lose a second of time introducing ourselves and determining if you're in Southlake and I'm in Keller and we are both kinda early birds then maybe we will ride share to events in the future. The moment I met Dana. Not at midnight, but at like 9 or 10pm. And that's a highlight of NYE 2017.

.......kayaking, jazz, river rafting the Grand Canyon, convos about kids, the symphony, camp fires, vintage trains, restaurant week, sunrises, Christmas parades, convos about dogs, dinner parties, games, theater, a helicopter ride, sunsets, a ranch sleeping in Conestoga wagons, convos about parents, wine tasting, lakes, fireworks, convos about husbands, and many Trulucks happy hours among SIMPLY THE BEST company a woman could have...  and always looking so cute. 

You are so graceful, kind and pure gold. 

The truth is... We missed you before you even left this earth and we will always miss you.

Your mother meant so much to our family.  We have such fond memories of spending time in your home.  Lots of summer fun swimming and just hanging out with you guys.  I’m so sorry for your loss.  Please know you both will be in my constant thoughts and prayers.  We love you!

Dana aways positive with a heart of gold.  She enriched my life and I will cherish  the memories whether it was  petting  llamas,  hosting the holidays in her home, dining in  restaurants that served her vast culinary tastes(pizza, steak or shrimp!) , masquerade events, kayaking, her early morning texts, which began, “ here’s the deal “. Alex and Mick are such fine young men largely due to Dana’s influence. I miss you, Dana

I remember Dana as a positive caring person. I knew her through tennis which she was passionate about. Will miss her smile!

Rest easy Dana.  I never thought a Mom on my street growing up would become a friend of mine in adulthood. I will forever remember riding through the canyons and sleeping under the stars with you! 

Dana was one of the kindest, most adventurous, SMARTEST people I’ve ever known. We used to live across the street from each other when our kids were little and we’d sit on the driveway and drink coffee.  She got me hooked on coffee. When her family moved to Southlake we still kept in touch by having lunch every few months. A few years ago we arranged a girls trip to go rafting down Cataract Canyon in Moab, Utah. It was a trip like no other! I can still see Dana in the very front of the raft, taking the brunt of the COLD water and rapids right in her face. And she was smiling and laughing the whole time! This picture is of us there, and we called it our “album cover”.  Whenever we’d meet for lunch we always swapped stories of what our kids were up to. She was so proud of her boys and always had good things to say about them. Her friendship sustained me thru many ups and downs in my life. I was always so appreciative of her open ear and no judgment.  She was a wonderful friend to me for many years. I sure will miss her! 

Dana and I played many a tennis match...some wins some losses but always alot of laughs. We always did our winning selfie at the end of the match. One of the kindest souls I've ever met and so proud of her two boys. So many memories.  Girl I'm going to miss you so much 😢 

I have done Dana's hair since 2013. She and I have had the funniest and crazy conversations. For instance, I remember when I colored her hair to match her sisters drivers license so she could use her sister's Wimbledon ticket as she had to show an ID to obtain the tickets at will call! To secure a Wimbledon ticket, tickets are drawn in a lottery. Her sister won an opportunity to buy a ticket and Dana did not. So, Ms. Dana had a plan... She got a 2nd form of picture ID at Sam's Club. Bingo! Dana got to go to Wimbledon! I told her I had bail money for her incase her plan backfired.  Love that girl!
