Danny McClendon

       He was the son of Michael and Elane McClendon. Danny grew up in Grapevine, Texas.

      Danny was raised with three brothers, Joseph, Michael, and Matthew. Danny was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings shared many life experiences over the years.

      A typical teenager, Danny had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School in 2014. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.

      Danny enjoyed his college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Danny was able to manage the balancing act. He was studying business at the University of North Texas in Denton. He was a proud member of Pi Kappa Phi where he acted as treasurer.

      Danny passed away on July 16, 2016 in Grapevine, Texas. Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents Margaret and Nicolas Episcopo, and Donald McClendon; and his uncle, Charles McClendon. Danny is survived by his parents, Michael and Alane McClendon; his brothers Joseph and his wife Stacy, Michael and his wife Megan, and Matthew and his wife Jackie; his nieces Alexis and Cassandra; his grandmother Joann McClendon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas. Danny was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.

      Danny was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Danny leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Danny was a very kind, caring, charismatic, and loving young man. He had a big heart and always made time for everyone. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Danny McClendon.

Danny McClendon was carried by angels to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was 20 years old. Danny was a very kind , caring, charismatic, and loving young man. He then went on to study Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of North Texas. He was a very proud member of Pi Kappa Phi and acted as the treasurer for the fraternity. Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents Margaret and Nicolas Episcopo, and Donald McClendon; and his uncle, Charles McClendon.
