David's love of learning continued and he earned an MBA from The University of Texas Arlington and a law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
In 2017, he retired from a distinguished 30 year career having flown many planes domestic, internationally and as a check airman. At the time of his passing he was working part-time at Flight Safety DFW and also practicing law.
