Mr. David Paul Goodlin

On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, we lost our beloved son, husband, brother, father & grandfather, David P. Goodlin (70). Dave was born in Greensburg, PA to Paul and Rebecca Goodlin and graduated from Greensburg Salem High School in 1970. Dave went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a architecture degree while a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fish Drill Team. Then he was commissioned into the United States Air Force and served his country honorably by flying F-4s and F-15s, and concluded his flying career after 25 years as an American Airlines pilot.

He was preceded in death by: Paul Goodlin, his father; Bill Scheibler, his brother-in-law

He is survived by: Resia Goodlin, his loving wife of 50 years; His son, Ryan Goodlin and his wife, Ashley, and their two sons, Gavin and Bryson; His daughter, Crystal Escobar and her husband, Henry, and their three children, Delilah, Rosalie and Maverick; His mother, Rebecca Goodlin; His sister, Sharon Goodlin;His sister, Donna Scheibler and her children, Bill, his wife, Jessica, and Tom; His sister, Rhonda Dunn and her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Audrey

Dave served his country faithfully, lived life to the fullest, and pursued excellence in all. Above all, he was devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed.
