Diane Carol Hutchison passed away on December 28, 2016 after a short two month battle with cancer. Graveside: 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2016 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, visitation to commence one hour prior to graveside. Diane was born on September 29, 1939 to David and Lucille Kieffer in Dallas, Texas. She attended University Park United Methodist Church and accepted Christ as her Savior when she was 10 years old. First and foremost Diane is remembered as a devoted mother who deeply loved her three children; she never missed one of their games, matches, meets, pageants, or plays. Diane taught Vacation Bible School and Sunday School, was a Camp Fire Girls troop leader and camp coordinator; she helped found the Coppell Library as well as worked in the community garden. Diane had many personal passions throughout her life such as making and selling her crafts in antique malls, collecting owls, gardening, bowling, and the Dallas Cowboys…but only when Tom Landry was at the helm. In addition, Diane also started two of her own businesses, yet somehow found time to keep her home impeccably clean and organized and always abundantly decorated for the holidays, especially for Christmas. Words cannot express how much she will be missed but how thankful we are that she is home with our Lord. Preceding in passing by her father and mother – David and Lucille Kieffer and her brother Charles Kieffer. Survivors: husband - Sam Hutchison, Children - David, Deborah and Douglas; Grandchildren: Cody, Kinsey, Travis, Connor, Chandler, Victoria; and her oh-so-loved dogs – Bear, Thumper and Prancer.
