Mrs. Dorothy Cowan-Lee

She is survived by her four children: Mike (Gail) Cowan, Brenda (Jimmy) Taylor, Jean (James) Gardner-Noel and Steve (Judy) Cowan, step-children Connie Ash, Kay Culwell, Danny (Gwynda) Lee and Terry Lee. Five grandchildren: Brandi (Mikeal), Amie (Lige), Lacy (Brad), Christie (Jeff), Richard, Becky (Jonathan) and Amanda (Matthew). Ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Cowan and second husband, Wayne Lee, a daughter, Cindy Cowan, son-in-law Robert Gardner, a sister and brother-in-law, Birdie (Hal) Wilson and a nephew Tommy Teague, Jr.

Dorothy retired from Teccor after many years as an engineering lab technician. She was an amazing mother who was always there when we needed her. She had many friends who were dear to her, including Fern and Dora Bombardier and their three children. She was well loved by so many, including her church family who was an important part of her life. We were so blessed to have her in our lives and to have that wonderful assurance that we will see her again in Heaven. She truly loved everyone and was a great Christian example for all who knew her.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 5 to 7pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11am at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will be at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
