Ann and Dub were such sweet folks. Miss them both..

I can't express in words what Ann has meant to me.  As others have said, her laughter is one of the first things that comes to mind when thinking of her. I'm sure everyone can think of her saying "Good night alive!" and chuckling.  We had so many good times: learning to swim, taking trips, and just visiting, from sleepovers with Cary as a kid, to my own wife and kids getting to see what a special person she was.  I wish I had been around to chauffeur her around in retirement as we had joked about in childhood.  I didn't make it to a PhD like she thought I might, but I could hear her voice as inspiration when I decided to go to graduate school. Many people have been blessed to have Ann warm their lives.

Rick, sorry for your loss. Your Mother always treated me kind, friendly and with respect when I visited her homes.

Lynnelle, You were much more than a niece or a guardian to Ann. I only got to meet her after her decline, but from those I have met and spoken to, she was a very caring lady. To see the efforts that were made by many to care for her, she was very special to many people. She is enjoying a well earned rest for all of her hard work.

Ann was much more than just an aunt to me.  She treated me like her own daughter, and considered my boys her own grandchildren.  She brought so much joy and laughter and love into our lives.  I was honored and proud to have served as her guardian for the past two years.

Ann always had a pleasant disposition and laughed easily.  We have missed her at church during her time of decline and illness.  She was always a delight to visit with.

Beautiful Lady, may you rest in God's arms you have made it home!
