Dorothy Lane Nelson

Dorothy Lane Nelson, of Paradise, Texas, passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2018 in Keller, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving mother to all that knew and loved her. She was born on October 26, 1921 in Burkburnett, Texas to Dovie Ledbetter Stagg and Homer Talmadge Stagg. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald LaVerne Nelson.

Dorothy was a homemaker, and loved to cook. But most of all she loved Jesus and sang in the North Richland Hills Baptist church choir for over 50 years. For twenty years she and Gerald traveled the United States and Canada in an Airstream travel trailer with the Wally Byam Airstream travel club.
