Celebration of life: 4 p.m. Sunday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Family and friends are invited to a reception afterwards at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 463 W. Harwood Road, Hurst.
Doug grew up in Jefferson, Pennsylvania, before moving to Texas after graduating from high school. A simple, hard-working man, he spent the last 25 years working for Coca-Cola. Doug was passionate about the Steelers, cars and his family. His giving heart made him a loving father and devoted husband.
Survivors: Wife of 40 years, Katrina Daugherty; children, Karen (Justin), Brian and wife, Donnica, and Megan (Sandon); siblings, Dennis and wife, Janice, Linda and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Deegan and Oliver; Miss Kitty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
