

Emily Jordan Finn, 21, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015, after a 21-year courageous fight. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in White's Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Emily was born September 10, 1993, in Fort Worth to James H. Finn Jr. and Jonna L. Rickman Finn. She was a 2012 graduate of Southlake Carroll where she was a member of the National Honor Society and a CREW team member of the Dragon Football Team. Emily attended the University of North Texas at Denton where she studied converged broadcast media and was a podcast editor at KNTU radio station. Emily aspired to be a sports broadcaster. Emily also tutored first-grade students in the Southlake Carroll ISD. Emily was small in stature but dynamite in spirit. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Southlake Carroll Dragons and attended every game. She also loved Notre Dame, UNT and the Dallas Cowboys. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James H. Finn Sr. and Dorothy M. Finn; maternal grandparents, J.D. "Papaw" Rickman and Patricia "Mamu" Rickman; and a cousin, Lawrence L. Ray. Survivors: Her mother and father, James H. and Jonna Finn; sister, Jayme Stiller and husband, Robert Jr.; brother, Blake Finn; aunts, Sandra Finn and Dee Ann Henry and husband, Michael; uncles, Timothy Finn, Jasen Rickman and wife, Reena; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Emily was a special aunt to Brendan, Hutton and Delaney Stiller.
