Ernest A. Laukhuf, 94, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Celebration of life: 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Visitation: 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Burial: following the service at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Ernest is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Lynda Laukhuf and his brothers, John, Edward, and Henry Laukhuf. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and then retired after 20 years with the Fort Worth regional office of the Federal Aviation Administration. Ernest was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was loved and will be missed. Survivors: Sons, Doug Laukhuf and wife Beth of Bedford, Texas and Steve Laukhuf and wife Julie of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Clint Laukhuf and his wife Hiroko of Lewisville, Texas, Chase Laukhuf and his wife Marie of Hinesville, Georgia, Ryan Laukhuf and Allison Laukhuf both of Atlanta, Georgia.
