Ethan was born on May 15, 2003 at Presbyterian Plano Hospital in Plano, TX. Ethan attended Wells Elementary School, Haun Elementary School and most recently Robinson Middle School, all in Plano, Texas. Some of his many hobbies included collecting, using and spinning exotic knives and hatchets, playing Rainbow Six Siege, The Division and Black Ops on his Xbox, playing air assault rifle games and football with friends, laser tag, swimming with his family at the pool, taking long walks with the family dog Marley, and had recently begun wake boarding. Ethan loved knowledge and gathering random facts about anything from Area 51 to WWII to Astronomy to music and everything in between. He loved the color blue.
Ethan loved to explore and discover new things and would often wander off at camps and on family camping trips to do his own thing. He was also a leader and commander within his group of friends. Ethan never knew a stranger, was kind to everyone, and will be greatly missed each and every day. He touched so many lives and was an amazing big brother to Elle and Evan. There are never enough words to express how much Ethan will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
You fell asleep without saying goodbye but memories of you will never die. Time may pass and fade away but memories of you will always stay. Deep in our heart a memory is kept of one we loved and shall never forget. God bless you and keep you in his care until we meet again.
Ethan is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Royal Gene Collins and his great grandmother, Georgia Faye McAda Bagley.
He leaves behind his parents, Brandy Dyan Collins and Jason Paul Tatum; siblings, Elle Mackenzie Tatum and Evan Maddox Tatum; maternal grandparents, Rodney Gene and Karen Faye Collins; paternal grandmother, Kathy Driggs; Uncle "Mike" and Aunt Sandi Collins, great-grandmother, Dorothy Collins; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
