

Ethel Mae Puckett was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Ethel will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Miles and Willie Ridinger.
Ethel was raised with four sisters, Ismy, Billie, Dorothy, and Wanda. Ethel was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Ethel was committed to making her new family happy.
Ethel worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Ethel was blessed with one son, Eddy and one daughter, Paula. Another blessing for Ethel was the gift of five grandchildren, Shane, Tristen, Kristin, Dustin, and Colton.
She worked briefly at a candy factory with her husband, but spent most of her time caring for her children and attending church. Ethel was a big cut up who always loved to laugh.
Ethel’s faith was important to her. She joined Rolling Hills Baptist Church, now First Baptist Church, in Fort Worth where she was a longstanding member.
Ethel passed away on August 11, 2016 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Ethel is survived by her son, Eddy Puckett (Sara); grandchildren, Shane Davenport (Mary), Tristen Vinson (Nathan), Kristin Puckett, Dustin Tawater; and one great-grandchild, Colton Estes. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas. Ethel was laid to rest in the Garden of Serenity in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Ethel was an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Ethel leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Ethel Mae Puckett.

Ethel Mae Puckett, age 96, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was born on July 24, 1920, in Fort Worth. The four things that were most important to her were family, God, the church and her friends. She worked briefly at a candy factory with her husband, but spent most of her time caring for her children and attending church. Ethel was a big cut up who always loved to laugh. She joined Rolling Hills Baptist Church, now First Baptist Church, in Fort Worth where she was a longstanding member. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Everett Puckett; daughter, Paula Davenport; her parents, Miles and Willie Ridinger; and four sisters, Ismy Puckett, Billie Berger, Dorothy Anders and Wanda Robins. Survivors: Ethel is survived by her son, Eddy Puckett (Sara); grandchildren, Shane Davenport (Mary), Tristen Vinson (Nathan), Kristin Puckett, Dustin Tawater; and one great-grandchild, Colton Estes.
