Gale Lyn Mims Beene

Gale Lyn Beene went to be with her heavenly father on January 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Gale was eldest of three daughters to Jerry and Jane Mims, she was born on June 3, 1946 in Corsicana, Texas and was in the graduating class of 1964. Gale and David raised their family in Plano, Texas where they were members of First Christian Church. Her professional career spanned many years serving many staff and students in Plano ISD and Keller ISD. She was a devoted follower of the Lord; she and her husband David were members at Countryside Bible Church in Southlake. There they were involved in bible studies and teaching English as a second language. Gale loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish Gale’s memory, her husband of 51 years David Beene, children, Laurie Wischmeyer, husband Andrew, Paul Beene, wife Carrie, Ryan Beene and wife Melissa, grandchildren; Madelyn, Lydia, Emily, Amanda, Eleana, Livi and Tyler, sisters Cathy Banks and Debbie Drum along with a host of extended family and friends.
