Gary Daniel Bass

Gary Daniel Bass, “Danny”, 68, passed away Tuesday November 8, 2016. Danny was born April 27, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas, to R.D. and Clydene Bass. Danny was loving, caring, giving, and always wanted to help others. He loved spending time with his family at Cowboys and Rangers games, and we will miss his enthusiastic cheering. He grew up in Colleyville with his younger sister and brother. He attended the University of North Texas, and in 1968 he joined the National Guard. He deeply admired all those that served in our military and police forces, and was quick to thank them for their service. He married his wife Brenda in 1971, and they had two daughters together. He was a blessing to his mother, very loved by his family, and his laugh will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father. Danny is survived by his mother; his wife; his children, Karen Bass, Whitney Kindrick and her husband, Kevin; precious granddaughter, Evelyn Kindrick; Sister, Janie Balderas and husband, Al; Brother, Craig Bass and wife, Jennifer; and many loving nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Danny’s memory to American Liver Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
