

Following graduation from high school in 1948, he entered the Navy and served until 1968 when he retired as Chief Petty Officer. He was then employed by Vought Aerospace Corporation (LTV), as a Technical Writer and Logistic Analyst until 1992. He was a member of the American Legion Post 379 in Bedford.
Survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Shirley, daughter Glenda Petersen of North Richland Hills, daughter Donna and son-in-law Kurt Dodge, granddaughter Chelsi Dodge, grandson Chase Dodge and great granddaughter Ariella Small, all of Winchester, Virginia. He is also survived by his brother Roy Petersen of Provo, Utah, and daughter-in-heart Kelly Perry of North Richland Hills.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday October 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the DFW National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
"Post Everlasting" Life Remembrance Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 379; 1245 N. Industrial Boulevard Bedford, Texas 76021.

Glen C Petersen, 87 of Euless, Texas passed away on September 30, 2018 at Baylor Grapevine Hospital. Glen was born October 5, 1930 in Provo, Utah.
