Such an endlessly caring person. One of the only people I’ve ever met who didn’t ask “how are you?” as a retrial courtesy. He genuinely wanted to know every time. He’d ask follow up questions, provide his thoughts or opinions, and ultimately would give whatever support and encouragement he knew was needed. 

I only worked at FedEx for a little over a year but Jack’s positive attitude and desire to support all the teams during every shift was so refreshing and motivating to me. He was one of the only people who not only kept in touch after I left but who made a conscious effort to be friends.

Hanging out once or twice a month, catching up about our career moves and goals while some random 90s action movie would play in the background. Playing old school arcade games at Cidercade. Randomly deciding to go to a Cowboys game because the tickets last season had gotten so cheap. I’ll hold onto these memories so tightly. 

I’m going to miss your friendly smile and your endlessly kind heart. Rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again! 

To Jack’s family, as was said today in the service, thank you for giving all of us the gift of Jack. You are in my prayers today.

I met Jack in January 2019 when we were pledging for our business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, at UNT. But it wasn’t until the fall of that year that we truly became friends. We spent time together talking and hanging out around campus, getting dinner, and I have so many good memories of visiting him at the apartment he shared with a friend. I even remember baking him a very Mean Green cake for his birthday, which always makes me smile.

As I’ve been going through my photos this past week, I realized just how close we were. Jack had a rare kindness about him—he was always there for you, no matter who you were or how well he knew you. His integrity spoke volumes; he consistently chose what was right over what was easy or in his best interest.

I am deeply saddened by his passing, but I will always carry with me the memory of his kind character and unwavering positivity. He made a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him, and he will be greatly missed.

Rest in Peace, Jack

I met Jack in 2019 when he pledged DSP.  Our time together was brief, but impactful for me. When first we met I honestly didn’t think we’d be friends. I’d soon learn he was a man with jokes (and funny ones). He had me cracking up in the most unexpected times. But he was also someone you could have a good conversation with. With the gift of laughter, Jack taught me something I didn’t realize I needed to be taught again- don’t judge a book by its cover.  His face has always been tied to that lesson, and I think of him when I catch myself thinking otherwise. I’m sad I never got to tell him of his impact, but I’m sure there are more stories like mine. Jack was an amazing person. I’m very sorry for your loss. I can truly say the world is better because he dwelt upon it.

Jack was one of those people you instantly like and so easy to talk to!  He made you feel like you were important no matter how long you knew him or what you were talking about! My daughter invited Jack to a family celebration and all the family loved him!  I truly knew my daughter had a good friend and that I trusted Jack thought of her the same! We are saddened to hear that he has left this earth but know that the people who knew him were impacted by his life! As I read the many condolences, I believe everyone felt the way I do….Jack you are one of a kind person who made a difference in the world and you will be missed so much!

This is extremely shocking and saddening to find out. I met Jack in my last semester at UNT in Speing 2019 while he was in the process of joining our business fraternity. Whether as a pledge or a brother, Jack was always eager to learn more about our chapter, our fraternity and every brother or pledge in it with him and was always ready to be there for and help others around him, including me. I’m glad to have met him and called him not just a brother but also a friend whom I got to share some good talks and lots of laughs with before I moved away. He was such a kind and genuine soul. The world is better because he dwelt upon it. May he rest in peace.

Jack was such a sweet heart!!! We worked together at FedEx. Not only that, he was a dedicated hard worker! He knew his stuff!!! I’ll miss all his little teachings he’d give to me any time we’d get to talking. But the one thing I’ll remember most about him is every time we passed by he’d never forget to tell me “hi, Celina” I’m going to very much miss that! Breaks my heart that such a kind soul has been taken away to soon. And my heart breaks for his family too. Those memories I have of Jack will forever have a special place in my heart. May these cherish moments I have of Jack comfort his loved ones as well.

Hi, I had the pleasure of meeting Jack in college when we rushed for our business fraternity. Many of us made great memories with Jack as we went through college life together. I was the Historian of our chapter for a semester or so, here are some of my favorite pics and memories of Jack.

Jack and I decided to be Twins for Twin day(Jack's idea) in Marching band. Still incredible we didn't win. You even got the wig afro and matching subway.

Some of my favorite memories in life come from my hanging out with Jack and the rest of the indoor crew. We laughed so hard, worked so hard, and put our all into our music. 

Thank you for being my friend and for repping "Scientist" what seemed like 10,000 times. I can almost hear it now and see us grooving. 


Mallet's Up!

Thanks to Judy, Jack and Emily.  One Christmas, after our son had suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury as the result of a car accident,  Judy, Jack and Emily took Ryan shopping for the rest of the family since he could not do so himself.  It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture.  A perfect way to teach your children to give.  God’s Blessings on your family as you celebrate the wonderful young man named Jack

I'm gonna miss you Jack. You were an amazing co worker and worked so hard. I'm going to miss seeing you around the halls and saying "heyyy jack o' lantern!" I knew Jack only a short time, while I worked at FedEx. He was kind and always helped out when he came around. Such a small gesture impacted my life and many others,

So sad to see a life ended incredibly short. Jack was a great friend even after moving away from Indiana. I'll always remember fun times we shared. I'm glad for the hope we have in eternity and we will meet again.

You always made me laugh and you always tried to be helpful when someone needed it. I will always remember the man I have always looked up to. I wish I could see you again and I wish the last time I talked to you wasn’t the last time. I wanted more time with you every time I got to visit you. Now I will have to let you be with the angels and I will see you again someday. I can’t wait to hear your stories again.

Jack you are truly the best person I have come to meet in my life. You have always been there when I needed a friend to talk to and you always showed up for people you cared about. I will truly miss you my dear friend.

A night to remember with a great friend and amazing worker. We got drinks to talk about his work ethic and to introduce ourselves to new experiences at a bar we’ve never been to. After discovering that the fishbowl has little to no alcohol we decided to head home and part ways. I am so sorry for your loss.  Jack was a great co worker and team member.  He was eager to learn and loved to streamline our processes...I would often tell him, he was "doing too much" and we would laugh about it.  Jack took great pride in his work and could sometimes be a little dramatic, but he told me he was working on that, lol.  I am truly missing you Jack.

you will be missed jack, we both were looking forward to working inside FedEx after working for a while at NES .when you got the job at control you were so excited but once in a while you would come visit your fellow auditors, and in those visits i shared the good news about me finally getting the job at international,  thank you for sharing your knowledge regarding Auditing. we had good times at Input, we will miss you .

My sincere condolences to the family! Jack was such an impressionable young man. I enjoyed each of the conversations we had. I miss my buddy already. Life is precious!!
