

Jaylee was born on October 20, 1963 in Sacramento, California to Rebecca Jane Reynolds and Eugene Patrick Halfmann.
Jaylee grew up with her family in Irving, Texas and later moved with them to Bedford, TX. She graduated from L.D. Bell High School, Hurst, TX, in 1981 and then went on to attend Tarrant County College.
In addition to being a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, and friend, she was also a high school cheerleader and an amazing softball player. Jaylee worked many careers during her life, but her most favorite was the years spent at Colonial Savings in Fort Worth, where she was part of the Payoff and Assumption department. In her leisure time, Jaylee was a champion at the card game Spades and was an avid Bunko player. However, of everything she accomplished in her life, her son Jayson, was her proudest achievement. Some of Jaylee’s favorite things included the color pink, peace signs, K.C. and The Sunshine Band, Marilyn Monroe, I Love Lucy, peach cobbler, and anything covered in “bling”.
Jaylee is survived by her loving husband Don Miley; mother and father, Rebecca and Jerry Lunsford; son Jayson Moore; sister and brother in-law Melanie and Claude York; niece Tessa Jayne York; maternal grandmother Wanda Lee Reynolds; uncle, James W. Reynolds, Jr. ; great aunt Ellen Lloyd; sister-in law Peggy Miley; step-mother Linda Halfmann; sister and brother-in law Jennifer and Shawn Decuir; niece Jessica Decuir; brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Crystal Halfmann; nieces Damia and Meria Halfmann.
Jaylee was preceded in death by her father Eugene Halfmann, maternal grandfather Lt. Col. James W. Reynolds, paternal grandparents Ella and O.C. Lunsford, maternal great-grandfather Arthur Lloyd, and great uncle James Lloyd.
