He was a long time member of the Blue Elders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, and had a passion for riding his motorcycle and traveling with his wife. He exemplified unconditional love and had a servant’s heart. He touched countless lives and created an extended family of so many through his unconditional love of people.
Doug was preceded in death by his son, Brent Douglas Curtis, first wife, Tricia Curtis, stepfather, Dean L Mattox, sister Suzanne Parsons and biological father, Joel Parsons.
He is survived by wife, Tommie Wood Curtis, mother, Loretta Curtis, father, Samuel D Curtis Jr., sister, Kathy (Carl) Cross, brothers, Samuel (Susan) Curtis, Jesse (Shara) Parsons, Robert (Hannah) Parsons, Joel (Katy) Parsons, Nicholas (Samantha) Parsons, stepsisters, Gala (Mike) Messerschmidt, Brenda (Craig) Rashaw, stepbrother, Tony (Leslie) Mattox, stepson, Derek (Valerie) Heard.
