

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Euless, 1000 W. Airport Freeway, Euless. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
John was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Fort Worth to Johnnie and Leona Jackson Andrews. He married Barbara Dorminy on June 19, 1954. John graduated from Southern Methodist University and was a professional engineer in six states. John built, owned and operated Brownwood T.V. Cable Service in Brownwood and surrounding towns. He later operated his own communication tower business and also invented a unique tower named the "Quick-Erect."
John served the community he loved in many ways and served as mayor of Colleyville from 1973 to 1979. John loved to share Jesus. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by a son, Herschel Craig Andrews.
Survivors: His wife of 60 years, Barbara; daughter, Karen McMillan; son, John Andrews; grandchildren, Misty Taylor and husband, Nick, Kevin O'Neal and wife, Chelsey, Christian Andrews, Rachel Andrews and Sarah Andrews; and great-grandchildren, Kambry, Caleb and Chance O'Neal.
