John retired after a long career of general dynamics at Lockheed Martin. He also enjoyed gardening, welding and dancing and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by mother and father, Carl and Elizabth Langbein (Stehling), his wife, Vickie Langbein, and his brother Stephen Langbein.
He is survived by his sisters Carolyn Moellendorf and Betty Warner as well as his sister in law, Mildred Piper and many nieces, nephews, close friends and wonderful neighbors.
