Jon Andrew Adams

Jon was born in Fort Worth to Rocky and Vickie Adams on June 13, 1977. Jon loved family vacations to Colorado; riding horses, fly fishing, hiking, and finding a majestic view to just simply sit and look. Jon had a passion for music, and was gifted at piano, guitar and singing. He could imitate singer songwriters from Hank Williams Junior to Lisa Loeb and regularly took the first place prize singing karaoke when imitating Lisa Loeb (“Stay”).

Jon graduated from Fort Worth Christian High School in 1996 and attended Abilene Christian University. Jon loved sports and is known for his on the field hard hitting, both in pads and with a bat in hand. Jon helped his dad start and operate Ready Metals, a family-owned business.

Jon is survived by his son Aidan Adams, and his daughter Ella Adams, his mother Vickie Adams, brother Patrick Adams (Carmen), nieces and nephews Caleigh, Cooper, Carson, Cambrie, and Canon Adams.

A funeral for Jon will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The Hills Church, 6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX 76180. Following the funeral will be a burial at 1:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
